How can I make a donation to Casey Trees?

Donations are accepted by credit card or check. Gifts by credit card can be made online, by mail or over the phone.

Checks should be made out to “Casey Trees” and mailed to:

If you prefer to make your gift by mail, please include our printable mail-in donation form.

What does my donation to Casey Trees go towards?

All donations go towards supporting Casey Trees’ programs that for over ten years has helped transform our nation’s capital into a greener, more sustainable place to live, work and visit. From our tree planting initiatives to our year-round educational courses, your donation helps bring trees – and their many benefits – to Washington, D.C.

Are donations and contributions to Casey Trees tax deductible?

Yes, Casey Trees is registered with the IRS as a 501(c)3 charitable corporation. Your donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Can I support or sponsor a particular program?

Yes, restricted donations are honored to their full extent. Individuals and businesses can sponsor or support a wide range of programs such as our Community Tree Planting, High School Summer Crew, Water By-Cycle, or Arbor Kids on the Go programs.

Is there a minimum or maximum donation amount?

Donations of any amount are welcomed as one time gifts. The minimum gift amount through our Tree Champion Monthly Giving program is $10 per month.

Can I gift a tree to a person?

Trees make great gifts. Honor someone special or celebrate a momentous occasion with a tree. Check out our Tree Dedication page for more information.
