City Paper’s Best Nonprofit of D.C. – Vote for Casey Trees!

Best of DC 2014 Casey Trees Best Nonprofit

Washington City Paper’s Best of D.C. Readers’ Poll is back and Casey Trees is in the running for Best Non-Profit. We are extremely proud of our accomplishments in 2013 and excited to start in on the goals of 2014.

We are no strangers to Best of D.C., as we were voted Best Place to Volunteer in 2010 and were runners-up for Best Non-Profit last year. Whether you’ve planted a tree, attended a class or made a donation — or did all of the above — we need your help to show everyone just how impactful Casey Trees’ work is to making Washington, D.C. a better place to live, work and play.

Why vote for Casey Trees?

2013 has been as exceptional a year:

  • More than 2,500 trees were planted through our programs by volunteers, staff and D.C. residents.
  • By launching our Tree Advocate program in 2013, we’re now better able to inform citizens and inspire civic leaders about the issues facing Washington, D.C.’s tree canopy.
  • TreeWise, our outdoor summer youth education program, had 30 summer youth camps and more than 700 children participate, giving urban campgoers an opportunity to get outdoors and learn about the roles trees play in their lives.
  • We continue to connect people to the city’s trees through an ever-expanding list of fun and interesting classes, workshops, lectures and professional series.

We can’t think of a better way to represent all your hard work than by being voted Best Non-Profit. Click below to cast your ballot today and get the word out about our love for D.C.

It’s easy — simply click the link above and vote for Casey Trees. All you need is a valid email address. Voting ends on March 1st at 11:59 p.m. Spread the word!
