Tree Talk Thursday: “The Dirt on Soil.”
Join us tomorrow for a new session of Tree Talk Thursday, our online chat series that occurs on the second Thursday of every month. We’ll be discussing soil-related topics, including: soil types, preparing for fall tree planting, and fixes for poor soil. Our speakers, Bahiyyah Parks and Josh Singer (a member of our Urban Forestry Crew), have worked together extensively on the Wangari Gardens project, and have a large working knowledge with soil classifications, moisture, pH balance, fertility, and other issues.
