Tree Talk Thursday coming up.. “Tree Canopy: definition, measurement & environmental stressors”

This September’s Tree Talk Thursday online chat topic – entitled ‘Tree Canopy: definition, measurement and environmental stressors’ – will discuss how the region’s tree canopy has changed over the past several decades and how it compares to other geographies and urban settings.

Our contributors will be Dr. Joe H. Sullivan, a professor at the University of Maryland College Park and Plant Science Curriculum Coordinator of UMD’s Department of Plant Science and Landscape Architecture. Our in-house guest will be Casey Trees’ Director of Technical Services and Research, Jessica Sanders.
