Happy Volunteer Appreciation Week!

That’s right, it’s that time of year when we look around at all the work we’ve done and reflect on how none of it would be possible without the support of our thousands of volunteers. All week long we will be running ads thanking our volunteers in different print publications — pick up one of the weeklies or an Express to find one!

Additionally, we will be profiling a few of our Citizen Foresters this week. But remember, these Citizen Foresters represent a whole team of dedicated volunteers who are helping us re-tree D.C. Considering volunteering yourself — we need several more pairs of hands for our Community Tree Planting at Ft. McNair this Wednesday.
