First Friday: August 3rd!
Just a heads up guys, we’ve got First Friday coming up next week – our speaker will be Lisa Morris, our very own Planning Associate here at Casey Trees! She’ll be doing an open forum discussion over all of the hot-button topics surrounding D.C.’s tree-related issues, but more specifically:
“Advocating for trees has never been easy, but sometimes the law is on our side. DC has tree and slope overlay protection zones, a 40% tree canopy goal, the Urban Forest Preservation Act and these topics are being hotly debated around DC. Come get the inside scoop.”
Don’t forget, at the end we’ll be touring our newly renovated headquarters! We hope to see you there!
