Casey Trees and CoStar Group Team up for Fall Planting Fun

After a break last weekend, Casey Trees was back at it again this Saturday planting 22 trees at the Takoma Recreation Center in Ward 4. The sunny skies were the perfect backdrop for an event that was all the more special thanks to our sponsor, CoStar Group, who came out in full force to help us plant trees at one of the area’s most beloved civic sites.

CoStar Group – one of the largest providers of information and marketing services to commercial real estate professionals in the United States – sent some of their best and brightest out to plant alongside Casey Trees staff and volunteers to make this event happen. And after months of planning, we’re happy to say that it was an incredible success!

From redbuds to red oaks, new trees now line the walkways and entrances of this heavily trafficked and widely used recreation center – and we have CoStar Group and their fantastic employees to thank for it.
