Summer Internship: Communications Assistant
We are currently looking for a recent college graduate to fill our Communications Assistant summer intern position. This is a 30 to 40 hour per week paid internship and is available through the end of August with the possibility of extension.

        Summer Internships
                                                                              
Each summer Casey Trees hires college students and recent graduates to serve as leaders for teams of high school interns. The paid interns, who are selected from across the city, learn about trees and tree care and spend most of their time working outdoors in city neighborhoods caring for trees and helping residents learn how they can help regreen the nation’s capital.

The GCA Zone VI Fellowship in Urban Forestry

The GCA Zone VI Fellowship in Urban Forestry provides financial aid to advanced undergraduate or graduate students to study urban forestry and related subjects. Work in this field will be far-reaching, as it will include the planning, management, and horticulture in urban forests and the effect of healthy urban forests on the environment. Selection of scholars is by a panel appointed by the Department of Forestry, Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University.
